Since the beginning of lockdown I have been using Steve’s online training facility which has been absolutely brilliant. Not only have a I been able to continue with my training throughout lockdown I still feel I am getting the personal guidance and advice that I have valued so much in working with Steve.

The video facility is great because it has enabled me to show Steve what I am doing and therefore ensure that my technique is okay. Even though gyms are now open I am going to continue with the online facility, as it gives me so much flexibility.

Having the Bodylastics bands I was even able to continue training whilst on a touring holiday in motorhome with one training session I started in Lincolnshire and finally finishing the session off when I got to North Yorkshire!

The Online Training App is very easy to use, from following the workout program with videos and clear written descriptions to keeping track of food and drink.  Support and guidance is readily available through the app messaging and is really useful when I need help or advice as a well as receiving feedback, encouragement and being kept updated of any upcoming program changes.

Online Training has helped me focus more when training on my own and knowing that the results are being reviewed make me want to achieve more by upping weights and reps or increasing cardio with the guidance of a dedicated trainer.

Overall I felt that when using this App I was still receiving the personal touch as I know that my workout program was written specifically for me with help available when required.

Finally the Online Training App is a great app to use provided by a trainer who is passionate about promoting health and fitness.

Using Steve’s Online Training really helped me with accountability and staying on track during the Christmas period especially. Before Christmas Steve had read my food diary and given me some feedback that enabled me to get into a routine with food that incorporated enough fresh fruit and vegetables. He also suggested that I aim to get protein in at every mealtime which I have definitely felt helped me.

I usually find Christmas really difficult to stay in control of what I eat but recording each meal and snack on the app and knowing Steve would be able to see it helped me stay accountable and I even continued to lose weight over that period of time. When I didn’t have time to write what I had eaten I could just take a quick picture and add it in later. 

I also used the app to track my activity and Steve gave me some feedback on that too through the messaging feature.

I have been using the App since lockdown started and it works just like you show. Very effective especially the tracking of previous performance on particular exercises. A main benefit is ability to regularly message /video communicate on routines with Steve to check upon progress and fine tune things if required. App is an excellent piece of work and is certainly keeping me fit during lockdown.

Hello Steve - Just a few words about your online training App.

When you scheduled my sessions in the app I found it easier to keep to it than when I just decide which days to go and do a workout, so It keeps me honest to myself & makes my own sessions in the gym far more productive and effective.

I really like to be able to see the videos to remind me how it should be done but my favourite feature is to be able to take a photo or add a note in the app at the time then you come back to me to discuss later – it’s the next best thing to having you standing looking over my shoulder.

It may seem like a small thing but the messages of encouragement sent after you had reviewed my activity helped to reward me mentally and keep me motivated. Regards

I have only had a few 1-2-1 sessions with Steve and they have all been well designed and prepared for.  Steve has an encyclopaedic knowledge of how the human body works and has the skill to ensure you improve the areas you want.  His sessions with me have improved my own knowledge about how muscles interact with each other and my basketball skills have improved as a direct result of the drills I've learned.  He's also a great bloke and I enjoy every session I have with him. I would recommend Steve without hesitation for anyone who wishes to improve any aspects of their health and fitness.

In April 2017 I made one of the best decision's in my life, to consult Steve about personal training and look at my nutrition and training regime, which was non existant and poor to say the least. I played in Steve's basketball club for a year after returning to the sport from my early teens, and was concerned about my fitness and how i was feeling in day to day life. In 10 minutes of jumping and jogging I was breathless. I was unmotivated, unconfident and not positive about how I looked and felt. I did not understand anything about strength training, or what foods would be beneficial to me. 

Fast forward to September 2018 and I cannot believe how strong and fit i have become. I managed to lose 25kg of body fat in 8 months and go from a jeans size waist 40 to a 32, with all of my friends & colleagues in awe of how I look. Steve simplified the nutritional aspect, without selling me an unsustainable plan that I wouldn't stick to, or enjoy. Steve has been very supportive throughout this journey, especially in the times of struggle. I didn't think any of this would be possible. He has a plethora of knowledge, life experience and his execution is second to none. His passion, dedication, enthusiasm and positivity towards his clients short term and long term goals is a real breath of fresh air.  

If anyone out there is thinking about using Shreeve Health and fitness' services, do it!

I would never have gone to a gym unless my husband bought it for me. I kept on complaining that even though I walked our 3 dogs twice a day I still felt unfit! I really didn't know one end of a dumb bell from the other, and actually didn't ever want to. Steve is very perceptive and seriously knows his stuff, he explains what the objective of each exercise is and what muscles they will target, he adjusts my plan whenever it's needed and shows the importance and effectiveness of stretching. The varied 6 week plan keeps it interesting! I am punching weights I never thought I could but with Steve's expertise and continual encouragement I do actually enjoy going now and feel an all over benefit! - Beth

2 years ago I was an overweight 59 year “old man”  with high blood pressure , always aching back, dodgy knees &  a cholesterol level of just under 6  - I clearly looked & felt my age! Meeting  Steve  has been life changing  - I now feel around 40 , my blood pressure is the lowest for years & I can now walk tall without the old aches & pains – even my timekeeping has improved! Steve Shreeve is not a  “stereotypical”  personal trainer.   Steve  has provided an ongoing  personal training programme  to suit my needs.  Steve’s professionalism, knowledge & amazing attention to detail  has produced results way above my expectations. On a vanity note - I am regularly asked for ID to prove my age when asking for “ senior citizen”  related rates. I really wish I had met Steve years ago! If there was a personal trainer league chart that plotted ‘ability to execute’ against ‘understanding the client’, Steve would be firmly be up in the top right corner. Over the last 3 years his flexibility to adapt to my short and long term goals, whilst also adapting training programmes to support ever changing work schedules and injuries including a broken leg has only been surpassed by his own relentless energy and passion for everybody’s health and fitness.

Whether it is midday on a Monday, or 7pm on a Thursday Steve always greets every one of his clients with an inspirational and positive welcome – he is always individually prepared for us all, from independent routines that change on a regular basis to bespoke guidance and advice about nutrition or additional exercises that will compliment the current routine.

Steve listens, advises, plans and executes against that plan, however, should your circumstances change on that ‘one day’ (pulled muscle, exhausted, under the weather etc) he will instantly adapt the routine to suite so you get the most possible from the time and investment.

Uniquely Steve has the ability to cause his clients to think about what needs to change in our every day routines to better our health and fitness, but without actually telling us. Nobody really likes to be told, and somehow discovering these things ‘for ourselves’ with subtle guidance, hints and tips from Steve makes the commitment to our goals even higher.

Steve is a well respected, highly trained, positive and motivational personal trainer who takes his customers to a level way above what you would expect to achieve on your own. I’ve witnessed this in myself, but also in many others that I’ve watched develop over the years.

I contacted Steve as I was noticing that as I was getting older my flexibility, power and strength was deteriorating and I wanted some advice and help to see if there was anything I could do. Since working with Steve he has improved my overall fitness to levels I probably haven't had for 20 years whilst addressing the areas that I had highlighted. In the past I've always felt a little intimidated by personal trainers. However, a few short weeks of personal training provided by Steve had with my husband I thought I would take the plunge & find out more. Steve is a perfect gentleman & in no way do I find him intimidating. Steve doesn't do generic programs. He produces training plans specific to my needs, making changes where necessary. The results have been amazing! I have dropped back down to a size 6/8 the size I was when I was 20 years old - perfect for my tiny 5' frame. This was achieved without dieting. Steve has to be the most motivated and upbeat person I have ever met, and this is what I appreciate as my personal trainer. I have started training in a bid to lose some weight and to improve my fitness. What I have achieved with Steve was far more than this, my fitness has improved so much in a short space of time that I am amazed now at what I can lift, push or press! It is more than 2 years since Steve started training my son at his local gym in Burghfield, Reading.  He really enjoys the sessions which have improved his fitness and stamina as well as making him more confident.  These are important things for a young adult with learning and communication difficulties.  Steve has been able to engage with and motivate my son whilst showing great care and patience. Steve created a 12-week program based on conversations about my goals. It's designed to be challenging, progressive, interesting and doable in the time I have available. I'm currently @ the 1/2 way stage and seeing gains across the board with potential for more. Steve's very knowledgeable, able to compare differing ways of training, articulate the pros and cons of any specific exercise or routine and keep coming up with different ways to train the same muscles. He also gives options if certain equipment isn't available or fatigue or time is a problem in a particular session. I really feel like attention is being paid during the sessions, with adjustments made when I'm going off technique or form which isn't always the case with other trainers. I think Steve really enjoys the challenge of helping people like me achieve our health and fitness goals and that really comes across when talking to him.

One of the best things I did last year was to sign up with Steve, it brought much needed structure and discipline to my gym sessions.  I badly needed the motivation and encouragement that he gives, not only to my exercise routine but also to my diet, through the nutritional advice that he is able to provide. Thanks Steve for all you do – our workouts are always challenging and hard work but enjoyable, I am very pleased that there is an overall plan which we regularly review together to make sure we are going in the right direction. That plan is reflected each session but at the same time you are flexible enough to completely change or partly customise each session based on what is happening in my life at that time. Steve is an expert trainer that adapts and progresses training sessions to achieve the best results while maintaining the 'healing' of injuries. When starting with Steve I was over 16 stone and wearing size 38 trousers, due to arthritis in the left knee I was finding it hard to lose the weight. Steve introduced me to strength training and started training plans that built up the muscles round the knee whilst adapting the exercises for the other areas to avoid putting pressure on the knee. I am now 14.7 stone wearing size 32 trousers and falling, I have started cycling again and do 24 miles a day, which is some thing my doctor told me I would not be able to do. Without Steve this would not be possible
